Have Pinprick Type Indention On The Palms. Feel Something Hard. Can't Bend My Hands Without Peeling. Treatment?

I've been having pinprick type indentions on the palms of my hands where there are creases. Sometimes it feels as if there is something hard underneath those sites. If I don't periodically peel back the skin on those sites and pull out the buildup there, I can't bend my hand. What I can pull out from under the skin is a hard stringy strip of something, kind of skin-like. I've had it all my life. What can it be?

Hi,

It sounds to be related to callus, multiple layers of dead skin. They are object of the work you do.

You can use salycylic acid solutions (drops) only to the callus area, once that dead skin is peeled of, you should stop using it.

Keep gloves when you do hand works. Keep your hands moisturized, use gentle hand soaps, avoid harsh detergents.

Thank you.
