Have Pityriasis Lichenoides Chronica. Can I Conceal The Redness Of Rashes By Using Make Up?
Im really desperate right now i've been suffering from PITYRIASIS LICHENOIDES CHRONICA for about 3 months. and it's very hard for me to accept that there is no cure for this horrible thing. Can someone help me how to manage my condition i had it on my face, neck and all over my body. Is it covering it up by using make up can conceal the redness of my rashes? I'm from the Philippines anyway can someone give me names of best cosmetic products for PLC that are available in my country? I really appreciate your help Thank you and more power!
hi. Although there is no standard treatment for PLC. Treatments options may include ultraviolet phototherapy, topical steroids, sun exposure, oral antibiotics (erthromycin, tetracycline), corticosteroid creams and ointments to treat rash and itching.
i would advice you to consult your dermatologist and find out the best form of therapy for you.
In the meantime you can conceal the redness by using camouflage colours, comes by the name of "Dermacolor". They have various shades which you can mix and match with your skin color.
