Have Problem In Bowel Movement And Bloating Stomach. Taking Udumarin Forte. What Else Should Be Done?
I am having problems in regular bowel movement every day. Nd have bloating stomach nd also psin below my ribs. Last time I did a blood check 2 months back for liver nd kidneys nd rbs. Everything is fine wat do u suggest is this Gastric issues. Doctor suggested me Udumarin Forte twice a day nd Pan D once a night b4 food. Any more suggestions.
Most likely you are suffering from constipation. Most common reasons of constipation are bad diet (low fiber intake, low mineral water intake), chronic bacterial infection, thyroid disease, medicines (antidepressants, Ca-blockers), colon cancer (more possible if your are over the age of 50), inflammatory bowels disease.
If you are over the ago of 50, colon cancer should be ruled out at first. To do that, colonoscopy (or FOBT - fecal occult blood test) is necessary.
If you are younger than 50, you should start with diet change. Increase fiber rich products, mineral water intake and physical activity (it stimulates intestines to work property). If you wont see any difference in a week or so, some tests are necessary. Blood work, abdominal ultrasound, stool tests and stool culture tests should be done at first.
