Have Prominent Bone In Hand. Done X-ray. Treatment?
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. If you have not sustained any injury and if you are able to move all your fingers normally, then a fracture can be excluded. The prominence you see on your hand could be due to MALUNITED fracture which shows up a small visible deformity. An Xray will ruleout any fracture in that area. Consult an orthopedic surgeon and follow his advice accordingly. Hope this information is helpful. Good day
