Have Respiratory Infection. Took Tramodol Shot, Azithromycin To Open Airways. Heart Bmp High. ER Visit Required?

I was told today I have a respiratory infection and possibly pluracy. I was given a shot to help open airways in the doctors office and also a shot of tramodol. I was also given a 3dat supply of Azithromycin and have taken the first dose. I still feel like I have shortness of breath and am not getting a full breath of air. My heart bpm has been as high as 114 and has consistently been over 100 for the last 30 minutes. Is this normal what can i do to help. I am very scared and yet the dr kinda acted like he just wanted to get me in and out. Do you think this is something I should go to the er for

Hi,

You are diagnosed with respitory tract infection. If you have come me i would have prescribed you:
Tab XXXX 500 mg once daily for 3 days
Tab XXXX 5mg and XXXX once daily at bed time for your breathing problem.

In your case you wait for 2 more days and there is no need to go at ER. Your increased pulse is due to difficulty in respiration. Take the later medicine also and you will be recovered soon.

Get well soon.
