Sinusitis is inflammation of the lining of the sinuses. There are a number of different causes, the most common are : (1) due to an acute viral illness like the common cold (2) due to allergies (3) due to a bacterial infection
At present you are using an antihistamine (cetirizine), antibiotic (advent) and a topical steriodnasal spray. The antihistamine and nasal spray are usually recommmended in sinusitis and the anti biotics given if a bacterial infection is suspected.
Your symptoms should improve with these medications. IF your symptoms are provoked by a specific allergen that can be identified and eliminated, it may also help you. Allergy testing can identify if there is any allergies involved.
I hope this helps
