Hello,
Thanks for coming to HCM. As per your description, the lump is possibly a lymph node. Face has small lymph nodes in the area you have described. Usually they are small in size that are not obviously seen or felt but during/after infection & certain other conditions, they enlarge and can be felt. Please ask your husband to be relaxed for now and he can discuss this lump with the doctor during his next routine visit. If there is any quick change in size, consistency or overlying skin of the lump, please contact your doctor.
Wish you and your husband good health!
