Suggest Remedy For Lumps In Cheekbone

My 10 year old son recently got hit on the cheekbone by a baseball that another 10 year old threw. He had a black eye for about a week (his eye never swelled all the way shut) he now has a hard lump on the edge of the cheek bone, he says it doesn t hurt and his vision is fine. Should I be concerned? And what is it? What can I do to help it go away?

Hi,
It seems that he might be having small hematoma localized on cheek bone.
Fracture of cheek bone is less likely as there is no pain on touching.
Apply ice pack for few days.
Apply Thrombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
