Have Strange Heart Beat. On Omeprazole. Is It Acid Reflux?

Hi Matthew. My doctor is suspecting that I have an acid reflux because I m having this weird hearbeat. I ve undergone seires of tests for my heart and it turned out that my heart is normal. He prescribed me an Omeprazole together with a rebamipide for 2 weeks. But he haven t asked me yet to take an endoscopy test. And now I m burping a white foamy saliva after I just ate an apple. Do you think it will really an acid reflux? I also always feel that there s a lot of air inside my stomach. Please advise. Thanks.

Hello,
As per the details you have submitted, your symptoms clearly telling that you have been suffering from GERD gastro esophageal reflux disease.
Due to eructation of the gastric contents you are getting this gastric contents into your mouth...so I advise you to continue combination of OMEPRAZOLE +ITOPRIDE combination..

OTHER METHODS TO AVOID REFLUX:
1. Taking divided mini meals 5 times a day in small quantity
2.avoiding spicy, and junk foods
3. Keeping extra pillow behind your neck to avoid reflux of gastric contents
