Have Swelling In Hand, Numbness, Noise In Joint After Stretching Finger. Is This Strained Tendon?

I was attempting to reach something with my ring finger and think I stretched it too far. Since I injured it a week ago, I have had swelling in my hand, numbness in my pinkie finger, and a creaking noise/feeling in the joint at the base of my finger. Is this most likely a strained tendon? Do I need to see a doctor for this?

Greetings of the day

Hot water fomentation and analgesic will help. It'd the movements of the finger are painful or there is deformity in the finger, would suggest you to see your doctor.
Take care
