Have Throat Infection. Taking R-cinex. What Should Be The Dosage?
Hallo Dr., my husband told me to take r-cinex 600 for 3 days (1 tablet each). As he has a throat irritation , the doctors in Germany had told him that if he has throat problems - he should take 1 tablet of r-cinex 600 every day for 4 days. He said I should not be affected because of him and I should take 1 tablet for 3 days. Please advise me if I should take the tablet.

R- Cinex is a combination of 2 drugs Isoniazid and Rifampcin; generally prescribed for tuberculosis or for prevention of tuberculosis. I wonder why your husband would prescribe you and you would take R CInex. It is usually taken for 4-6 months for tuberculosis. Please don't take medication without prescription from a health care practitioner. It also causes serious side effects like damage to liver; nerves, nausea, vomiting etc. So to answer your question again don't take it.
