Have Tightness In The Chest. Had A Fall Earlier. No Medication Or Test Done Till Now. Can This Due To Fall?

Yes, thank you. I fell last week and hurt my left breast, my arm and upper back. I did go to my M.D and was checked out but the last couple of days I have been feeling a tightness in my chest. My doctor asked me that question but at that time I did not feel this. Could this be from the fall? I have been using the heating pad and my aches and pains seem to be getting better. I don't feel sick in any other way, but I am 85 and this fall really gave me a jolt. Thanks for your advice and opinion.
Sincerely,
Elaine Russo

Hi,
As you are 85 years there are more chances of having fracture of some of your ribs as due to osteoporosis of bones at this age.
Go for x-ray chest of ribs.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
