Have White Lumps Between Toes. Putting Hydrocortizone. Have Less Itching. What Can This Be?

I have 3 white lumps between my baby and forth toe noticed yesterday. They are itchy and there is some light clear discharge. The skin is also red. I have been putting hydrocortizone on them, left over from when I had athletes foot a few months ago. It doesn't seem to be reducing the lumps. They are less itchy when my shoes and socks are off. I use a public gym and am worried I've picked up something.

Hi,

You have a fungal infection. Instead of using just cortisone cream you should also use a anti-fungal cream. Other ways to prevent this is to make sure your feet are completely dry when you leave gym or are entering gym. Another tip that helps is to use socks which have silver in them. Silver is bad for fungal growth. Thus fungi or any bacteria will not grow in them. I hope this helps you.
