Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic
Acne is due to your adolescent hormones and you will continue to have it till that hormonal influence is over. It might be 28 yrs or 30 yrs or even 32. It had gone into remission due to isotretinoin. But you need to maintain the remission using a maintenance gel. Topical retinoid is the best maintenance cream. You can apply a pea size amount of adapalene 0.1% gel at night over pimple prone areas so that you won't get any relapse.
Now a combination of benzoyl peroxide and adapalene has come in the market which is giving good results (eg: Epiduo gel) in my experience.

You may approach a dermatologist practicing cosmetology and get 4-6 sittings of salicylic peels for added benefit.

Avoid creams on your face. Avoid oil on your scalp. Diet is important. Avoid too much milk and milk products like cheese, chocolates, sweets, sugary foods and drinks. Eat a lot of fruits rich in vitamin A
Hope this helped
Take care
