Have Wingworm In Thigh And Pain In Wrist Bone. No Tests Done Or Medication. What To Do?
I have a wingworm in my inner thigh and on my left elbow the on the elbow it was a round circle now it is the size of a nickle and i notice I have one in my inner thigh. also my hand connected to my wrist where the round bone that connects the hand to the wrist that bone hurts very bad making it diffcult to hold items in my right hand as well as movement when moving the hand in different postions it hurts it been going on for one week.
Ringworms are caused by a fungal infection. Topical medication can be used for the areas where your lesions are located, oral medication is needed if the scalp or nails are involved. These creams may be available over the counter and include ketoconazole, tioconazole, terbinafine and miconazole.
In terms of the pain that you are experiencing- it could be related to trauma either from an acute event or as a result of repetitive movements.
Some persons also have a mass called a ganglion near the wrist that can cause pain. This is a cyst that can result in pain. You may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment.
I hope this helps
