Having IBS, Abdominal Pain, Sore To Touch, Getting More Discharge. History Of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Any Ideas?
My sister is having strong abdominal pain which is sore to touch she s getting more discharge than normal and feels that she needs to push when going toilet she has ibs and also has a history of pelvic inflammatory disease she can t move and considering ibs she can t do a number 2 and describes the pain as sharp and stingy?
In these cases anti inflammatory non steroidal and painkillers such as Butylscopolamine and Ibuprofen are recommended.
But before she get the treatment she should confirm the diagnosis. To do that she needs following tests: 1. Gynecologic examination. 2. Abdominal ultrasound. 3. Pap test. 4. Complete blood count. 5. Urine test. 6. Blood test for fibrinogen level.
She should also contact her gynecologist.
All the best. Dr. Behar.

Adnexitis causes sharp pain and sometimes it cause vomiting, too. In these cases anti inflammatory non steroidal and painkillers such as Butylscopolamine and Ibuprofen are recommended.
