Having IUD. Cramping, Light Bleeding And Excessive Discharge. Does This Need To Be Checked?

I have had my paragard iud for 6 months. for the most part, periods have been normal. But this last month I had severe cramping over a week before beginning my period, a short light period, then for the last two weeks cramping, light bleeding, and excessive discharge (not smelly or abnormally colored) should I get this checked out?
