Having Scalp Psoriasis. Why Is It Still Spreading After Treatment?
Dear Prasad, My MOM having Scalp Psoriasis for a year ,she is 40 yrs old.we taken a treatment in our native but its still spreading more place.can you please Tell me the Permanent cure for that disease and also to consult which doctor in chennai and Banglore.Please Do the Needfull. Hi scalp psoriasis is psoriasis of scalp presents as dry flaky mica like scales all over the scalp .on removing the scales there is bleeding.there is itching present.it can be cured by using coaltar shampoos like konaz -ct shampoo weekly twice and application of clop s nano lotion twice daily .use of maxepa and atarax 25 mg can cure it. There will be recurrences especially in winter months.there is no permanent treatment for it.in banglore u can meey dr.anil abraham who is renowned dermatologist

Psoriasis is a skin disorder occuring because of disturbed skin cell cycle.
It responds to treatment but relapses are common.
You have to accept this.
There is no permnant cure for it.
Topical steroid lotions like propysalic and shampoos like ionax t works well in scalp psoriasis.
In severe cases drugs like methotrexate is required.
It will be better to consult a dermatologist and take the treatment under his guidance.
