Having A Lump In My Left Thigh, Not Visible But Palpable. Reason And Treatment?

I have a sort of lump in my leg it is on my outer left thigh just a few inches above my knee. It kind of hurts like a charlie horse sometimes. It's not visible, but when I run my hand over it I can feel it. I'm 17 years old almost 18, and 5'2. I weigh about 115 pounds, and I'm a female. Is there anything to worry about?

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You ought to get examined by a doctor - general surgeon...
It may be a torn muscle, defect in the fascia, lipoma (fat) beneath muscle...
The best way to diagnose and treat - is to get removed and send for biopsy

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
