Having An Attack Of Diverticlis. Having Pain And Diarrhea. Should I Go To Doctor?

Having an attack of of diverticlis and for the passed 7 days but now having explosive dirarea and pain. See no blood and dirarea is not watery. Pain is bearly talerable with pain meds and nausea meds at a 7 on pain scale on meds. Should I go back to my doctor or ER? Or is this a normal course of the attack and to give it more time!
