Hi I have an inscisional hernia from a gall bladder operation performed at the end of Serptember last. In early December I noticed a bulge in my torso at the end of the inscision. My wait time for a consulation is May 6/14,this bulge is now quite large and is getting uncomfortable, how can I get this attended to in a timely manner?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the hernia is increasing in size and causing discomfort, you may want to consider speaking to your doctor to find out if an earlier appointment can be arranged.
If this is not possible at this office, then you can ask your GP for referral to another general surgeon who may have an earlier appointment.

I hope this helps
