Having Chest, Left Arm Pain, Shortness Of Breath, On Beta Blocker, No Relief. What Should I Do?
i have been having chest pain and left arm pain for about a month, also shortness of breath during these episodes.
i have had a stress test and heart ultradound. they have determind they do not think it is heart related. after this they have put me on a mild beta blocker becouse i still have the episodes. the beta blocker has helped a little but i am still experiencing episodes. any advise?
Maybe your beta blocker needs to be adjusted to a higher dose to see if this helps. If it isn't your heart then they should run down the list of non cardiac chest pain such as: reflux, esophageal spasms, rib pain, musculoskeletal pain etc.
