Having Dry Skin, Itching, Red Patches On Skin. How To Get Rid Of These Patches?

So I had dry skin and I kept itching it but after awhile it ended up leaving a few red patches on my leg. The patches are red and rougher than the rest of my skin. There very noticeable and I want to get rid of them right away. I have been applying some gold bond to them but I dont think its really working. I want to get rid of them as soon as possible so I was wondering if you had any advice in how to get rid of these patches.

Thanks for the query,

You might have developed fungal infection.

Please get a KOH mount done,

This can confirm the fungal etiology.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
