Having Endometrioma Collapsing Follicular Retention Cyst. Treatment?
I am a 26 Year old, Single lady. I am diagnosed two cysts in my left ovary . one is giving impression of endometrioma, and another is of old endometrioma d/d collapsing follicular retention cyst. Please advise, which treatment to go for...?
Hi,treatment depends on size of cysts. If they are less than 5 cms I feel you can opt for cyclical oral contraceptive pills for 6 months as they help in regression of both the type of cysts you have mentioned.but it takes a few weeks before your symptoms are relieved.(if you symptoms like severe dysmenorrhoea, menorrhagia)also treatment depends upon your desire for childbearing in future
