Having Irregular Periods. Had An Intercourse Recently, Missing My Periods. Should I Need To Worry About It?

HHello,

I am writing this e-mail because I am very concerned right now but I do not know if I even should be. My girlfriend and I had sex about 2 and a half weeks ago and I am now concerned that she may be pregnant. She is not on the pill but we correctly used a condom and I did not ejaculate whatsoever. I later did a water test on the condom to see if it had any breakage or holes and it did not. She has a very irregular menstrual cycle so it is very difficult to tell if she has even missed her period or not. No matter the response to this e-mail, we are planning on having her take an at home pregnancy test. Though we are still going to take a test, I am just curious if I should really even be worried or not. If she does get her period, we do not plan on having sex again until she can get a proper contraceptive such as the pill. I would really appreciate a response to this e-mail as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear back from you soon.

Sincerely,
Concerned Boyfriend

Hello,

If you have had protected sex and you had used condom properly there is pretty much no chance of pregnancy. And since you have confirmed the condom was intact, it rules out one rare case of defect in condom.

There are a lot of factors that play role in delay of menstruation, one of them being stress. Tell her not to be too much worried about it.

Just to be sure, take a home pregnancy test.
Congratulations on being so informed.

Hope I helped
