Having Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. Taking Methotrexate. Getting Small Bumps With Pus. Used Cortesteriod Ointment. Blood Infection?
I am 60 years old with Mixed connective tissue disease. I have bee taking methotrexate for a number of years as well as Premarin for menopause. For the last month I have been getting small red bumps, most with a small pus ball on the top every week or so. They just seem to clear up, it starts all over. I have been putting a cortesteriod ointment on each bump to dry them out, but again it has started all over again today. Is this some type of blood infection? Most are on my face, but now notice I am getting some on my neck.
