Having No History Of TB Why Does My X-ray Show Residual Fibrosis On Upper Lungs?
Hi! Goodmorning! Just want to ask about my recent xray result it shows that there is a residual fibrosis on my left upper lungs but i have no history of TB in my entire life or any punctured lungs and no operation done.. This is posible even without any causes?! And what should ID?! If i ask for pulmonary clearance will the doctor give me any clearance with my xray result?thank you for the time in answering my question.. Godbless!
Fibrosis is the sequel of any infection. It is not always only due to tuberculosis. Fibrosis can occur due to other causes like autoimmune, occupation related etc. In most of the cases it doesn't require any treatment. Surgical intervention may be required in huge fibrosis causing severe pulmonary dysfunction. Hope i have answered your query.
