Having Noticed Back Pain After Taking Simvastatin

I had been taking simvastatin for over 5 years. I recently have lost weight to where I used to have good levels of cholesterol. It has been two weeks since taking any and I have had back pains. I have had back pains in the past but they have never lasted this long. Should I try taking it again and see if my back pain goes away/

Good Morning. simvatatin is the drug to decrease cholestral levels. it doesnot have any action on back pain. if verify the pain. What is the nature of pain and any radiation and assosiated with activities. aggrevating and relieving factors.
