Having Numbness, Pain In Left Pelvic Area, Lower Back Pain Due To Mild Herniation. Numbness, Pain Down Buttocks In Rectum.

Ive been having numbness and pain in left pelvic area and lower back pain due to mild herniation of right lumbar region from work injury. Had 2 injections and PT, went back to work then started feeling pain and numbness down buttocks in rectum. Numbness after a BM , had MRI cat scan , Emg, all seem normal except mild herniations, doctors can t.figure out what s causing numbness AND pain. Is.worse with sitting down and lying down, after extended physical activities, etc,, could this be.caused by herniation pinching nerves or possible pudendal nerve

Possibly there is nerve impingement.You may be helped by Hard bed rest for 10 days and application of lumbar traction to lower limbs to disengage the pressure from the nerve by herniated disc.Traction may allow healing of disc and if pressure continues your surgeon may think on lines of discectomy
