Hi ! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
If I were your doctor, I initially would have got your blood pressure recorded and your eyes, ear, nose and throat checked to rule out any pathology in them. Once this is ruled out, I would go for some routine blood tests, like CBC,
ESR, Blood sugar, and a
kidney function test.
A throbbing head ache could be due to an infrequent condition called
temporal arteritis, which should be treated early to avoid its complications and you have to see a doctor in that case for a diagnosis and treatment.
If all these are normal, I would like to know if you have got any
anxiety factor operating which can also give rise to such headache. Once you deal with your anxiety, you will be ok.
If however your symptoms increase without any relief, I am afraid that you do not have any choice except to see a doctor in the ER of your nearest hospital.
I hope this information helps you in deciding further course of action. Thanks for choosing healtcaremagic for your health query. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
