Hello,

Thanks for asking the query,

Halitosis or bad breath can be because of several reasons like post nasal drip, sinusitis, poor oral hygiene, plague and calculus deposition, depositions on the tongue.
The symptoms will subside along with the treatment.
Go for the symptomatic treatment of complete mouth scaling and polishing.
Clean the tongue with tongue scraper or soft bristle toothbrush.
Maintain a good oral hygiene, continue the use of antiseptic mouth rinse solution.
Take multivitamin tablets.
Take balanced diet and drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Hope this helps out.

Regards.

Hello dear
Your problem seems to be associated with recurrent sinus infection. For such a condition water therapy is recomended i.e. Fill warm saline water in your mouth like baloon and move it side by side , do it for 30 seconds , spit the water and repeat this for 10 times , and three times a day. Rather than Listerine mouthwash if possible use chlorhexidine mouthwash as it is antiseptic mouthwash that can remove bacterial deposites over your tongue.
