Having Sore Throat With Greenish Yellow Cough, Blood Test, ENT, CT Scan Normal, Took Two Vitamin C. Suggestions?

Hello, I woke up with a very minor sore throat a few days ago, then it went away and two days later (yesterday) I was experiencing a slight loss of voice. Yesterday my voice was cracking very much and it was as if I was beginning to lose it. In the middle of the night (now) I woke up with a very bad throat soreness everytime I swallowed. I checked my tonsils, as I've had tonsillitis in the past, but they are not swollen from what I can tell, but seem to be a little but white at the tops. I also woke up with a stuffy nose, blew it, and had yellow mucus. I coughed, cleared my throat, checked the phlem in my throat, and it was yellow as well, with a little spot of a darkish brownish green color. I am a 17 year old female who recently (within the past month and a half-two months) had a lot of blood tests and recently went to an ENT, had a CT scan of my sinuses (all clear) and saw a Neurologist. All feedback was positive. I took two vitamin C's just now, is there any indication of what this might be? Please and thank you!

Hello and welcome to HCM,

The presence of sore throat, yellowish discharge in the throat, stuffy nose with yellow discharge all indicate an infection of oro-pharynx and nasal cavity.
A CT scan has ruled out infection of the sinuses so the sinuses are clear.
Vitamin C is used to prevent recurrent infections of the upper aer-digestive tract.
The mucus discharge from nasal cavity and throat should be examined to look for the infectious agent causing the infection.
Specific antibiotics effective against the infectious agent can be prescribed fo the infection.

Thanks and take care
