Having taken Prednisilone and Risondranate for nearly 2 years due to Giant Cell Arteritis and now stopped approx 2 months ago, how long will the joint and muscular pain last? Sometimes the pain is so bad I have difficulty in walking. This is affecting several joints plus I have had gum disease for several years. Can you give me any indication of how long will the side effects last. Thank you.
