Head Hurt, Throbbing Pain, Dizziness, Swelling. Brain Surgery Done For Epidural Abscess Earlier. Medical Opinion Required?

About eight hours ago I tripped walking up stairs and I hit the right side of my head off of a concrete wall. I had pain, some dizziness, and swelling afterwards but I didn't notice anything too out of the ordinary.
As the day went on, but especially lately, I have been experiencing a slight throbbing, pressure building pain where I hit my head. I also feel it occasionally on the left side where I had brain surgery for an epidural abscess about 8 years ago(don't know it that has any relation), and occasionally near my forehead.
Since I am taking and thinking clearly, not vomiting, and not sensitive to light, do you think that I should still visit a physician? Or are these just common side effects of hitting your head fairly hard?

In my opinion these are the effects of simple trauma to the head.
However to my patients I will do the following:
1. Investigate the reason of tripping, was it due to fainting, dizziness or fit. Was there loss of consciousness.
2. Monitor for the development of extradural hematoma(Nausea, vomiting,changes in consciousness,blood pressure changes,neurological signs like changes in pupil size), if the trauma was moderate to severe.
3. Start with pain killers and topical anti-inflammatory cream.
4. The epidural abscess side you were operated upon is unrelated to the current injury.
5. Consult your doctor if the symptoms do not subside, aggravate or you feel that things are worsening.
