Head Injury, Cold, Mild Fever, Headaches. Serious Symptoms?
Hit upper part on temple 24 hours ago ... It didn t cut it open and it was a dull rounded corner along with hitting head I ve been having a cold for last few days with slight fever .. Which didn t help the head aches after the hit. Should I get it checked out is it serious or should I wait a few days to see what symptoms are ??

You have not mentioned how severe the injury was or if you had any immediate complications like a blackout or bleeding from the ear or nose. Some amount of headache and a mild swelling can be expected due to the impact of the injury.
The fever which you are having is most likely due to the cold (probably a viral fever), and is unlikely to be due to the head injury. I would advise you to watch for the following warning signs of a serious head injury like:
- Severe headache
- Projectile vomiting
- Bleeding from the ear or nose
- Weakness or numbness of any part of the body
If you are having or develop any of the abouve danger signs, then you have to seek urgent medical attention.
