This occurs due to presence of network of blood vessels near the tip of the nose which can bleed easily if injured. Applying cold compress and pressure will help in stopping the nasal bleeding. You should seek medical attention immediately as nasal packing should be done with a vasoconstrictor. Headache can occur after nose injury.
