Headache After Being Hit On The Nose. Had Nose Bleeding. Need To Be Checked?
My boyfriend knocked his head into my nose pretty hard. I ve had a headache for 3 days now afterwards. The day after it happened, I got a really heavy nose bleed (I never get them). I bled hard for about half an hour, with lots of thick clots coming out. It freaked me out. My vision feels fine and I m not any sleepier than normal. Any way this stuff can be connected?
Bleeding from nose also known as Epistaxis, is common after injury to nose.
This occurs due to presence of network of blood vessels near the tip of the nose which can bleed easily if injured.
Applying cold compress and pressure will help in stopping the nasal bleeding.
You should seek medical attention immediately as nasal packing should be done with a vasoconstrictor.
Headache can occur after nose injury. You should get yourself clinically examined and get your vitals monitored.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
