Headache For 4 Days. Taking Sudafed, Advil, Tylenol, Nasal Decongestant

I've had a headache for going on 4days now. It is on my right side temple area, feels like in back of my right eye. I've taken sudafed, migraine advil, tylenol, nasal decongestant......nothing seems to help. My ears are not plugged nor is my sputum yellow or green, its almost clear...? trying to avoid going to DR. but a little scared now.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

It looks like you are having a severe bout of flu. Flu is a self limiting viral infection. Sometimes during flu, there is a possibility of contracting bacterial infection which can prolong the headache and throat/ nose congestion. At that time it would be best to consult a doctor and take a course of antibiotics.

Do regular gargaling and keep yourself warm.

Hope this helps
