Headache, Nose Blockage, Ear Blockage, Sleeplessness. Suffering From Sinusitis. Options Other Than Surgery?

I have been affected with Sinositis since 7 years (from 2005). Having Headache,Nose blockage,heaviness in eyes,ear blockage, sleeplessness. For first 2 years I had been consulting ENT doctors. Afterwards I am taking self medication, taking daily Citzin A at night & steaming before bed (all the days). Again,last week I consulted ENT Specialist Dr.Ramalingam(20 yrs. experienced). He has suggested for Scan(NCCT PNS)..axial/caronal & surgery might be necessary. I went for second opinion to a Govt.ENT specialist. He says this is incurable disease. Private doctor is misguiding you for Scan & surgery. I am confused now. Doctor pl guide me to get out of my disease

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Before coming to any conclusion we should know the exact diagnosis for which I think here it is missing.
After proper diagnosis line of treatment can be decided.
What is primary thing required is go for PNS ( para nasal sinuses ) x-ray.
This will give condition of all sinuses.
There is possibility of having DNS (daviated nasal septum ).
So get all investigations done and make the diagnosis.
Meanwhile continue taking Cetrizine as and when required.
Do Vicks nasal inhalation.
Ok and bye.
