Headache With Slight Face Twisting, Difficulty Speaking, Pressure On Brain Tissues. Why Is It ?

I had a headache yesterday for around 1 hr aroun 2:30 pm.I was feeling diffficulty in speaking due to slight twisting of my face at the peak of pain.It is like pressure on brain tissues.I had developed headache (generally in 2nd half of day,few minutes to 1-2hrs) in 3rd week of June last year and Neurophysician prescribed me Mibeta,Ergovas & Antiblue.I got well within 10 days but doctor contd. medication for 4 months with some changed drugs. But that time I did'nt face difficulty in speaking.

Please suggest and guide me.
Thanks

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi ,

Based on the details you have episodic headache with speech arrest and twisting of face which goes with mild type of fits (Focal seizure), hence you should be on antiepileptic drugs.

Presently the above medicines which you are on for migraine prophylaxis, hence you need to consult Neurologist and discuss the same .EEG and imaging brain with contrast to be repeated to rule out structural lesion

Regards
