Headaches, Neck Pain And Indigestion. Due To Stress?
I am a 41 yo woman in general good health. I have been experiencing headaches, neck pain, indigestion syptoms (burping) and have been feeling quick sharp stabbing type pains in my back (top right near shoulder blade) off and on for 2 days now. I am not sure if this is simply indigestion syptoms and my neck and back pain the result of stress or something more concerning. I have been told I was suffering from indigestion and reflux recently and under went a gastrocopy with no concerning results - but this did not include the sharp back pain so I am unclear if this is also related to indigestion. I have also been reading about heart attack versus other chest pain problems and find it hard to clearly determine the difference between both. I would appreciate your opinion and treatment advice.
This pain seems to be originating from aorta. It may be aortic dissection secondary to long standing and uncontrolled hypertension. Please get investigated. The tests may include USG and MRI of the chest. An ECG has to be taken. Get your blood pressure checked regularly. A USG abdomen may be rquired as well.
Take care
