Headaches On The Top Of Head, Occurs While Lying Down, Coughing. Taking Ciplar, Dicorate. Cure?

hi doctor, for last one month i am suffering from headache . The headache is normally on the top of the head. Now i am having dicorate ER 250 and ciplar 40 mg tablet since last one week. The doctor told me that the headache is due to migraine . Is it due to tension . But i feel something dangerous. The pain is not all the time. Pain occurs when i lying down or coughing. I need your comment and support.

Dear patient,

I must compliment you for providing adequate details of history. The headaches which are more on lying down and coughing definitely need evaluation. These kind of headaches generally are not seen in migraine

I would suggest getting your eyes checked for fundus examination to look for any signs of raised pressure. Some of these type of headaches are best evaluated with doing imaging of brain. A physician would of great help in guiding you in further investigation and treatment plan.
