Hearing Less Audible Sound And Pain After Been Slapped On Ear. How To Rectify?
I was slapped from a boy.The slap effected on my left ear. From that time of slap for 2-3 days I was hearing less audible sound from left ear than right one. After some days they have become normal but still there is pain. Please help what should I do ?Please reply. thank you.
I have gone through your query regarding loss of hearing after being sloped on your left ear.
Here I would like to tell you that slap is the commonest cause of traumatic injury to ear drum. On the other hand our ear drum has got tremendous power of regeneration so spontaneous healing is observed most of the time if ear is not disturbed by putting any drop or hair pins etc.
Here my suggestions are-
1- Keep your ear clean and dry (Don't put any ear drop or oil etc)
2- Take Antihistaminic.
3- Take Anti inflammatory.
4- Steam inhalation.
Usually 2 to 3 weeks time is needed for spontaneous healing of ear drum and by following above suggestions most likely you will be benifitted otherwise consultation with ENT doctor will become necessary.
Regards.
