Heart Attack, In PVS. Have Headaches, Neck Pain, Drowsiness, High BP. Positive ANA Test. Suggest
I have been taking care of my husband that had a massive heart attack almost three months ago. He is in a pvs. I am have neck pain along the sides of my neck with severe headaches and constant drowsiness with a bp of 133 over 59. I attribute most of my symptoms to the every two hours getting up to give meds, turn him, clean him, etc. I also have c.f.s. and undiagnosed positive ANA testing. I push through the c.f.s. because I have four kids that need me. The positive ANA I have had since I was 18 and I am 36. I have never gotten a diagnosis because I do not have insurance and I truly do not want to know.
I agree that the most likely explanation of the neck pain and headache is related to tension, from stress, in the form of tension headaches. The blood pressure you attach is actually normal. Relaxation tecniques, massage, accupuncture and ocassional judiscious use of pain relievers such as acetaminophen is indicated.
Yours truly,
