Heart Beat Through My Shirt??

Im about 6 2, maybe 6 3 and im 18 and i weigh about 300 pounds. i am obese. anyway my question is, even when i am sitting down resting i can see my heart beat through my shirt. and a little discomfort in the chest. i just got rid of a little cold 2 days ago. what could cause this?

Your Body mass index is 37.5 The apex beat, also called the point of maximum impulse (PMI), is the furthermost point outwards (laterally) and downwards (inferiorly) from the sternum at which the cardiac impulse can be felt. The cardiac impulse is the result of the heart rotating, moving forward and striking against the chest wall during systole. Consult a cardiologist.
