Heart Pain, Rapid Heart Rate, Palpitations Fade After Heart Thumping, Had ECG And 2D-Echo

Hi I m a 26 year old male. I have increased heart rate all day long and especially rapid heart while and after resting. I can feel the heart thunping and it take fifteen-twenty minutes for the palpitations to go away. Last year, I had an ECG and 2D-Echo done. ECG showed irregualr heartbeat but 2D-Echo was normal. There was 15 day period about a year ago where i experienced sharp pain in the heart for 15 days. Now, even little physical exccercise pushes my heart rate to 195-200. Please diagnose me. Thanks

Hello,
If echo is normal then seems to be valves are okay in their functioning. Now ecg shows irregular heartbeat and you have tachycardia (increased heart rate) and angina/ ischimic heart pain. You might have some ischemic cardiac condition like myo cardial infarction. could also be a case of myo carditis. your height and body weight are an essential components to a proper assessment. Now blood cholesterol level, density of blood (thickness) and complete blood picture (CBP) are some essential hematology investigation are required. You have to undergo cardiac angiography (non invasive investigation procedure to know the percentage of blokage in the coronary artery/ blood supply to heart). If indicated then cardiac angioplasty is to be performed.....
All these things to be done under the supervision of a certified Cardiologist only.

Wish you a healthy heart soon..
