Heavy Bleeding, Burning Sensation While Urinating After Having Sex For First Time Followed By Cramps. Have PCO Syndrome, Irregualr Periods. Normal?
I recently lost my virginity five days ago. I bled a lot to the point I thought it was my period, and it burned when I used the bathroom. We did use a condom, but now I am starting to get cramps and I am not sure what that means. I also have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome so my periods are irregular. Please tell me if this is completely normal.
Trauma due to intercourse can result in vaginal bleeding, it should not be associated with the level of bleeding that you are experiencing.Other causes of vaginal bleeding after intercourse are: cervical changes, cervical or uterine polyps, infection, vaginal dryness.
It should also not associated with significant abdominal pain.
If the cramping and bleeding continue then it would be best to see your doctor for an examination of the pelvis and abdomen.
I hope this helps
