Heavy Periods, No Irregular Heart Beat, Quick Pulse At Rest, Anaemia Symptoms ?

I was told at one time i was slightly anemic but I bleed extremly heavy duuring my menstrual periods, I notice that my heart rate runs approx 90-100 sometimes 110 just at rest, i dont have chest pains or irregular heart beat but could anemia cause an high pulse rate

What was your hemoglobin level when you were diagnosed as being anemic?

What treatment did you take for the anemia?

Heavy menstrual flow can cause or worsen already existing anemia. The heavy flow could be due to hormonal imbalances or due to local causes in the uterus.

Severe anemia can cause fast heart rate. This is a serious condition. It means you are going in for cardiac failure.

Kindly make an appointment with your doctor to get evaluated. He would ask you to do the following tests: Complete blood counts (CBC), Hemoglobin level, etc.

In the meantime you can start taking some iron supplements like Fefol Z capsules one daily.

Include milk, milk products, and green leafy vegetables in your diet.
