This past month my discharge has been heavy and yellow and sort of foul smelling. After I had sex with my bf I noticed a tinge of blood mixed with my discharge and his semen right away. It s been 2 days and I ve been spotting. It seems watery and very foul smelling with cramping time to time, I feel very tired all the time and my period is due a little more than a week from now. I have no idea what s going on?
If you miss your period, the first thing you need to do is a urine test for pregnancy.
Yellowish heavy vaginal discharge can be due to infections of the vagina. Foul smell and itching are generally associated with these infections.
Abdominal cramps and spotting can also occur.
Genital infections can cause delay in your periods but before keeping this as a possibility you need to rule out pregnancy.
For diagnosis and proper treatment of genital infections, it is a must you consult a gynecologist for an internal examination.
Take care.
