Hello,
A month ago a mass was found on my liver,I have had an MRI without and with contrast done and the report said that I have a benign focal nodular hyperplasia but some of the lesions were not identified and a metastatic disease was suspected.
Then two weeks ago I have had an ultrasound guided biopsy, the first impression of the results only confirmed that the tumor in fact have not malignant cells and there is a presence of inflammation. The samples were then sent out for an other opinion.
I am still waiting for them to come back.
I am concern because we still don't have an accurate answer about the lesions and the GI doctor in charge don't have a precise plan of action.
Although I am having an EGD and colonoscopy done this week.
Any advice in what I should do and ask?
I am a military dependant and I am considering to change my insurance plan and go to a civilian hospital as now I am treated in a army hospital.
I appreciate any advice.
Thank you very much.
I apologize if my English is not perfect,it is not my first language.
Kind regards,
Barbara
