Hello I discovered my 11 year old daughter had nits in her hair on Sunday. I bought Nix and treated her hair. I then combed through it of course that night after the treatment. I then combed through her hair on Monday and Wednesday evening. With that being said after doing that today Thursday i have found 4 nymphs and 2 adult looking lice crawling on her head. Could I really have missed those last night? How can they be in various stages at seemingly the same time? I have washed all bedding in hot water. Clothes also. Soaked combs, brushes etc for 10 min in hot water. I called the dr today he prescribed Malathion (could be incorrect spelling) for her but I will not have it until tomorrow. I have put olive oil on her hair tonight and someone told me try mayonnaise. I am at my wits end any ideas?
